The lighter the gauge (usually the higher the number), the less likely you are that it will hold up in our southern Utah winds and extreme temperatures. Beware of buying the light gauge posts, wire, and vinyl products. Always insist that all vinyl products are reinforced with a metal rail in the bottom vinyl rail.
