Net Wire A.K.A. Mesh Wire & Field Fence
This design has larger spacing at the top and closer spacing at the bottom. “Net Wire” fencing handles the rough chore of corralling herds of cattle, sheep, pigs, or other large animals because it holds up to continued abuse. Because of the way Net Wire is built, it can expand and contract as temperatures rise and fall, therefore holding up to some of the harshest weather. Horses are safer kept inside woven wire fences with squares of smaller dimensions, such as “non-climb” fence.
Tubular Metal Pipe Gates
Strong, durable, safe and affordable, the tubular metal pipe gate is perfect to finish off any horse enclosure you desire. They are available in 4′, 6′, 8′, 10′, 12′, 14′ and 16′.
Metal Braces
Metal braces should be considered if there is the possiblilty of fire. Along ditch banks or roadways where weeds may accumulate and form a fire hazard, metal braces usually will withstand most fires.
“Non-Climb” Horse Wire
This closely-woven 2″x 4″ vertical mesh pattern is calculated flawlessly to prevent horses or other hoofed animals from “stepping through” the fence. This fence offers rigid yet flexible construction that makes it ideal for installation on level terrain. A closely-spaced woven wire such as this “non-climb” fence has a lower risk of animals becoming entrapped and injured.
Barbed Wire Range Fence
Barbed wire, also known as barb wire (and commonly mispronounced as bob or bobbed), is a type of fencing wire with sharp edges or points arranged at intervals along the strands. Barbed wire was the first wire technology capable of restraining cattle. Barbed wire fences remain the standard fencing technology for enclosing cattle in most regions of the US. For security purposes a few strands of barbed wire at the top of a chain link fence will discourage people from climbing. Barbed wire is an inexpensive option perfect for large range fencing.
